In a talk earlier this year at Stanford University, Lee talks about many of the most advanced technologies being developed today and discusses the pathway most technologies go through to be placed on the market. 
Well known in hacker culture, Johnny Chung Lee, has famously hacked the Wii, turned a Roomba into a teleprescene robot, and an assortment of other technologies. He parlayed those experiences into positions with Microsoft, where he helped develop the Kinect, and now works for Google.

In a talk earlier this year at Stanford University, Lee talks about many of the most advanced technologies being developed today and discusses the pathway most technologies go through to be placed on the market. Lee describes how a combination of technological advances, consumer needs, and aesthetics lead to a successful product. Finally, Lee introduces his theory known as the "Era of Specialization."
